Corpus / Epoch

Corpus / Epoch is the operator view for corpus lineage, replay coverage, migration evidence, and reset verification.

Key fields

  • active and prior epoch identifiers;
  • engine, catalog, inventory, and capability fingerprints;
  • projected and actual replay coverage;
  • per-identity replay outcomes;
  • eligible and excluded evidence counts;
  • exclusion reasons;
  • old-versus-new counts;
  • protected-store attestations;
  • stage completion and final reconciliation.

Replay outcomes

replayed means the claim was re-adjudicated under the pinned campaign. unrescorable_skip means the legacy record lacked enough authoritative metadata for honest replay. A skip is preferable to an invented denominator.

Fresh starts

A low-coverage activation requires explicit fresh-start acceptance. The historical scientific record is preserved as Legacy Epoch 0 while the new active corpus begins with only eligible replay results.

Green verification

Do not treat an activation as complete until verification reconciles replay counts, corpus eligibility, epoch stamps, append-only decisions, trial accounting, holdout state, and protected hashes.

See Run a corpus epoch for the guarded workflow.
